With or without?

Sometimes, my English teacher would complain that some parts of my essay or sentences are rather redundant. And so, I have a habit of tidying up things. If it didn’t make a difference whether it was present or absent, I would just remove it. More especially in coding my layouts, PHP, HTML or CSS.

Then again, I realised that I have not been using WWW before URLs. Would that mean that I am not “appreciating” the world wide web for not typing it? =) I believe we don’t need to type it, however when linking friends who prefer having the WWW, then I would just add it in. ^^

Do you prefer URLs with or without the WWW? And any reasons for your preference? Or perhaps, it doesn’t seem to bother you one bit? =D

Trick-or-Treat!

Hello there! Happy Halloween in advanced! As you can see, my blog has been updated with a new look. Not all that new, it’s still very purple! I decided to go with simplicity, a one-column layout, so there’s more space for blog entries! We don’t celebrate Halloween here where we live, but it’s nice to give our friends a scare or two! *dances* Haha~ BOO! 8D

Nothing much to update here about, really, because I just wanted to announce that I am taking a short break from internet. SPM is in less than a month now!! And I am freaking out a little… x_x Also…

Yeap, the domain will turn 2 years old as of 14th November 2009. And so, the gift is a new layout for you… Haha~ I am going nuts, speaking to something not alive? XD Never mind me… /runsoff

Banana-ism

I am considered a banana, or at least a partial banana. Being a pure Chinese and raised in a family that speaks Chinese, Cantonese and Hakka, I am rather disappointed in myself that I could not speak either one, fluently… I had a discussion with my father one day regarding this, and all he could say was that I was not a banana! That I wasn’t a Chinese, but a Malaysian… <3! He can really say nice things to uplift me sometimes!

After high school, I might take up classes for language, however if I could manage to converse with it, then I would not. Hopefully that is the case! Friends, please continue to purposely insult my banana-ism to improve! XD Alright, perhaps not too harshly, but feel free to speak to me in Chinese… ^_^

Recently, I listened to a few nice Chinese/Cantonese songs, and finally came to know about the song Wei Khong always sing in class… XD Finally…

And it has been raining pretty heavily these days… My room is wet as of right now, while typing this… My legs are quite wrinkled now… I ought to go and clean it up, ain’t I? ^^; I think I should… Hmm… I’m weird that way, no worries! Hahahaha~ XD

This applies to those of you out there who are saddened by any unfortunate events going on, and also those who are taking the important examinations this year. PMR is next week already, study smart everyone! And make sure you relax and do not get too stressed out! I can only wish you guys and girls all the best <3

Same goes to the Form 5 students who recently got back their trials or gerak gempur papers. Just strive harder for the upcoming papers. No use crying over spilt milk, there’s still time ahead of you… Also, do not count your chickens before they are hatched~ ;)

My parents have been emphasizing the few words for the past few weeks, I think I am going to go nuts soon! College, SPM, certs, focus, exam, studies to name the few! Amazingly, I am still sane till today, at least partially. Or you would not be reading this… XD Hehehe~

Good morning! Err.. I meant, evening..

Whew, I woke up from my evening nap earlier, thinking it was already morning, and that I was late beyond words for school! Now, how more blur can I get than that! ^^; Gerak gempur additional mathematics was pretty alright, considering I could do all the questions I attempted, whether correct or not, that is a whole new, different story!

It was disappointing but also partial relief that Pn Chong, our addmaths teacher could mark at 3.0x10⁸: the speed of light! We just completed our accounts paper, and the next day (I was absent on that Friday), I already knew what I had. Just great! =.= And last Friday (again, haha..), we all got our results for addmaths, that we took, just the day before..

No, I won’t tell. =.=

I meant my marks. And don’t give me that look either.. T.T It was… disappointing! But better than a certain someone! Muahahaha… (Although.. He got higher than my accounts~ /cries)

On a side note, Happy Birthday, Aunty! Woots! The last time I saw or met you, it was your beloved son’s birthday. Glad you remembered me, but I hope you remember me as Melissa, or at the very least, Li Ginn! (I don’t want to be known as THE “nugget girl” T.T Allister, I promised the nuggets, and I shall bring them, but it’d take some time, hahahaha…. XD

And I cut my hair.. It’s too heart-breakingly short! x_x I didn’t expect that the girl cutting my hair would say, “Your hair is too curl (she’s Chinese-educated, I believe, should be curly XD) and frizzy. Cannot cut layer la~” With the famous “la”, ala Malaysian style! ^^; LOL!
