Gong Xi Fatt Chai!

A time to celebrate with beloved family members.
Have fun, and may you have a safe journey ‘balik kampung.’ (Going back to hometown.)
Wishing the Year of the Rabbit brings much joy and happiness JUMPING your way!
“A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. A water log stick would do just fine. A dog doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, clever adult, smart or dumb. Give him your heart, and he’ll give you his.” John Grogan, Marley & Me.
John and Jenny Grogan got married on a cold blizzard night, and when John sensed that Jenny wanted to be a mother, his colleague, Sebastian, had suggested that they should get a dog. As a birthday gift for Jenny, John got her a “clearance sale” yellow labrador retriever, in which they named Marley after the singer Bob Marley, to see if they were ready for a family. More than a decade and three children later, Marley started to show signs of ageing, and a second terrible stomach twist put him at his deathbed.
“He once ate an answering machine, just pounced it off. He didn’t chew it, but he ate it, and then digested it. And then he came back for a phone for dessert.” He is not like any other ordinary dogs; and John wasn’t even sure if Marley was a dog, as he told the vet. Marley is a strong-willed yellow “Labradoodle” (as suggested by Sebastian). And he happens to not be the “world’s worst dog,” after all, despite his mischievous behaviours.
YET.
The trials came and past fast enough. Having a one-week break now, but the finals is just around the corner…
Twenty-eight days more to go is the count… Oh ehmm gee, 28 days!
Fragments of memories… ♥
When you feel life is down the drain…
Just stop, and look back at the trails…
From where you came from…And you’ll see the brighter days,
The colourful rainbows…
The pain and happiness,
Of friends and family…You’ll never be able to go back,
That’s for sure…
But know that without yesterday,
You aren’t what you are today…
Love you all! — Melissa ♥
