Back from the dead? ^^

Good morning! It is 6 AM right now, and I just sneezed because although I have not been sleeping in the other bedroom with air-condition, it is cold! Of course, I am not complaining.. This is the kind of peace and tranquil time I would love to enjoy the entire day - which of course is not possible. Construction of new houses in the front, and renovations at the back. Not exactly a really good environment if seeking for an afternoon nap!

Yes, I have gotten myself used to all that sound. But still…

Anyways, good question, Allister! What happened to all those “I’ll blog and keep in touch with everyone after high school/SPM!”, I wonder? To make it up, here’s an update with recent happenings and highlights…

December 2009
After all those months of hard work, it was naturally our seniors’ time to sleep like.. Polar bears during the winter time - hibernation! Nothing much, besides a 6-day of utmost boredom. Someone went overseas, and I guess anyone could guess who I am talking about~ x)!

Right before DK flew to Japan, I was downright nervous to the core! We both had so badly wanted our folks to know about us. So I was at his house, and he told them. Initially they thought something had happened that he had to ask them to step out of the house to see me.. And his mum was all nice and kind and lovely to me! <3 I just couldn't stop smiling at that point! ^^; My mother knows this, too..

January 1st 2010
I was torn between writing December 31st and this, but I am in the mood for the new year of 2010, so... That aside, New Year's eve was pretty much a blast for me~ <3! I barely got to know DK's family - parents, more of, I already knew his sister - and of course, vice versa. I was there at his place to celebrate. It was awkward, really! Aunts, uncles, and even cousins. PS: some of them already knew (in one way or another~)!

It was a beautiful view, we could see numerous fireworks! <3

January 2010
My birthday was last June (hint hint!) and I should have been legal to start driver's ed. However, my father said after the final examinations, and so here I am! Only half a year late, what's the big deal? A huge deal.. ^^; Took my undang (law, or in its more formal name, KPP) and its exam, the theorical practical (I wonder how to explain that?) and now I am an L holder! Learning, people, not loser!

Other than that, did I mention that life has been very dull? My parents adviced to enter tertiary level education after my results (March), so I took on a part-time job nearby. It didn't help much, except I was out of house. And, it didn't last long, though I had sales and commission under my belt! It felt good, but sales was not in my blood..

January 31st 2010
Today. And I am up early while some others would wake up when the sun would burn their bums before they even realise that it wasn't night any more.. I am missing my friends, Sulin, Sally, Shu-Yi (yes, with dash!), Shuk Thing and even Ee Ling too.. 5S1, my classmates who sometimes felt like family: Allister, the OKU gang, Hema and the cacated/sesated gang (I could speak "brocolli" xD), Liyana...

DK’s daily schedule for university made me wake up early, as though I was the one back to school. And I dreamt of what would I do in the future. Not too distant, but a rough “sketch” of where I was heading in life. More on this on another post.

Did I mention I am awake early? I am going back to sleep.
It’s a weekend for Pete’s sake! x)

PS: Enjoy your university/college life, everyone!

  1. It’s great that you got Learner License! Now, way to get the Driving License and then Melissa will rock the road! (in a good way, of course :P) I’m going to learn driving soon too, not before April, though. I hope everything goes well :D

Waking up early is awesome, indeed! It’s such a good time to do all the stuffs that we wish to do in tranquility when everyone’s still sleeping, things that seem too difficult to accomplish once family gears up for the day. Ah, and with the construction thing, I’m in the same situation as you are, in back of our apartment. Although, they haven’t been causing much disturbance lately. Hmm…

Long vacation can be tiring and boring, so true! When exams end, you jump out of joy that you’ve long vacation awaiting your arrival for relaxation but as soon as it begins, things go totally opposite of your expectations. But, then again, uni/college life seems much more fun and challenging after a long time of break.

I’m looking forward to your next post, about your future and thoughts.

And, I’m spamming comment area again! Eep!

  2. Ah, yes, and I’ll try not to crash and burn anything! :3 Hope you’ll have fun with learning to drive, then, just like how I am~ Apparently it is fun being behind the wheel controlling the clutch and all, that it isn’t actually depressing if the engine decides to die later on~!

Unfortunately, sometimes I wake up due to certain uncomfortable reasons, like nightmares! Thank goodness that I can’t remember all my dreams vividly, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to sleep the next night! x)

Despite the fact that I don’t really like studying, I do miss a little of it… All that adrenaline rush when you see the clock strike midnight and you know you have to sleep soon or you’ll drool on the paper the next morning~ Haha~ And somehow, I am feeling a little left out, I would like to start uni/college soon!

Don’t worry about leaving comments, I ♥ them! Feel free to spam, if that’s what you’d like to call it~ ^^
