Writing an about page is hard, diabolically difficult even, for me. The word count on my WordPress kept showing the same number, 11, and before it could update itself, I have already erased several times whatever I have typed and re-typed.
Reminiscentia (tsuioku.net) is Melissa’s online home and journal. Post entries are irregular, and might not be a cup of tea for the geeks (pardon my harsh language) seeking for facts about global warming or the latest updates of the next technology that came up. Simply because you will never find it here. It is just a hobby, not my life or job.
I am more commonly known as Mizuiro, my online alias, so feel free to acknowledge me however you would like to.
Has a passion for graphic design, playing with XHTML/PHP/MySQL, sports, generating xD/x)/
, and of course, daydreaming! Currently pursuing her undergraduate studies at a local university, but wish I could fly one day and experience life overseas.
Nickname: Mizuiro, Pineapple Princess, Life’s Good (LG!), hubby (?!!) x) Birthday: June 9th – hint hint! Origin: Malaysia, Truly Asia!
Reminiscentia Network
tsuioku.net is the Japanese word for reminiscence or recollection, which happens to be similar to Reminiscentia, except in another different language!
However, due to my “powerful” memory, I lost track of which language~ Latin, perhaps? Hmmmm…

A lot has happened since I first bought the domain back in 2007. I was desperate for a domain for myself, as I prefer having to type 11 characters to get to my site, instead of 55! Told my dad I was working on the school website for the teachers – which I was! – and needed his credit card. (How guilty I was after purchasing the name, LOL!)
At first it was a fanlisting collective, then turned into a network with no projects to handle, and -tada!- an online journal. It has been that way for a very long time, and hopefully many more years to come…
